Private guided day walks and Walk & Wine outings — just your group, your pace, and a local guide who knows these trails.
One guide, just your party — your date, your pace, and the route adjusted as the day goes.
Guides who know these valleys first-hand — mountain-leader trained, first-aid qualified, and full of stories.
We tell you plainly what suits you, and if the weather turns we change the plan — we don't just cancel.
Hiking with a local guide isn't just about reaching a viewpoint — it's understanding why that bend in the path, that view, that village matters. Our team has spent years walking these mountains, and we're glad to share the routes we love most. Search above by area or difficulty, or browse a few of our most-loved hikes below.
A flexible circuit through ancient olive terraces with an optional summit of Puig des Teix, returning along the restored Archduke's Bridleway and an old mule track.
A delightful, gentle walk descending through olive groves and cobbled paths between Deià and Sóller or Puerto de Sóller, with sea and mountain views all the way down.
A walk of Mallorcan contrasts — sleepy villages, high peaks and torrents from S'Arracó, finishing at the waterfront in Port d'Andratx with a well-earned beer.
Every walk is private to your party on your date. From €339 for a group of 1–5 (about €68–170 each for two to five of you, 21% VAT included); larger groups from around €55 per person.
Two routes, one destination: Son Puig, a family vineyard that's been growing wine since 1597 — pick your climb, we'll pour the wine.
Starting just outside Puigpunyent for a proper climb — a cobbled mule path through holm oak forest and ancient olive terraces, finishing at Son Puig's manor house and vines. Three bodega tastings to choose from, from a quick two-wine visit to a guided tour with four wines and a proper spread.
A steeper climb through mountainside estates and ancient terraces, finishing at Son Puig — a family vineyard growing wine since 1597. Pick your tasting at the bodega: a short two-wine visit, a guided tour with three wines and cheese, or four wines with finger food.
The old Postman's route from Esporles through Moorish terraces to Banyalbufar, ending at a tiny family bodega just outside the village — Malvasia wine and local bites at an idyllic spot with the sea below. Groups of five or more.
Every Walk & Wine day out finishes among the vines. Select the tasting that matches your celebration — from an intimate glass in the courtyard to a full guided cellar tour with local delicacies:
A guided visit to the manor house, 16th-century chapel and cellar, followed by 2 signature wines paired with estate extra virgin olive oil and crusty bread.
Comprehensive tour with the winemakers, tasting 3 premium Tramuntana wines accompanied by a curated selection of artisan Mallorcan cheeses.
The grand experience: a complete tour through the cellar and the gardens, with an explanation of how the wine is made, and a tasting of 4 different wines with cold finger-food tapas (Iberian ham, cheese, coca, pamboli, nuts, ensaïmada… depending on the season). Maximum 2 hours.
The two Son Puig routes are tailor-made — tell us your dates and group size and we'll set it up. Fancy a different area or winery? Just ask.
The price depends on your group size and the tasting you choose — all prices shown include 21% VAT.
Give us a few days or a week and we'll design your walking itinerary through the Tramuntana — the GR221 in stages, or a tailored route guided every day at your group's pace.
The honest walking calendar — when the wildflowers come, when the tops hold ice, and when the mountains are simply too hot.

Need a day off your feet, or just want to mix things up? Mallorca's coastline, canyons and back roads have plenty more to offer — here's a taste of what else we can take you to do.
Off your feet for a day, or fancy a change of pace? We also run canyoning, coasteering, sea-caving and a rock-climbing baptism, and our sister company Palma Bicycle Tours looks after two wheels — 10% off for Mallorca Hiking guests. Tell us what you're after and we'll put it together.
The stuff people ask us the most — answered honestly, no fine print hiding.
Our walks are private guided hikes — one guide dedicated entirely to your party, on a date that suits you, at your pace.
We do! Alongside fully custom private holidays, we run a handful of open-group departures each year through the Serra de Tramuntana. Expect guided hikes, insurance, and luggage transfer if you want it — just bring your boots and an appetite for good views. We don't handle accommodation ourselves, but we can recommend a trusted travel agency that takes care of just the accommodation (or accommodation and flights) — we look after the rest. Flights, transport and extra meals aren't included.
Just drop us a line — email, WhatsApp or a phone call all work, whichever's easiest for you. Once we've nailed down the date and the type of hike or holiday, we'll send a secure payment link so you can pay by card, or a proforma invoice if you'd rather do a bank transfer. Simple as that. Full group pricing and our cancellation policy live on our practical info page.
Absolutely, on our private guided hikes — every family and every kid is different, so just tell us in advance so we can pick the right route and pace. Parents look after their own little ones along the way, including carrying them if needed.
Mallorca's mountain weather can be moody — we keep a close eye on the forecast and always talk it through with you beforehand: reschedule, adjust the route, or, if truly necessary, cancel — with a full refund if we can't run it at all. Just get in touch and we'll sort out the best option together.
Still have a question? Chat with us, or see the full practical info — we love talking about this stuff.
Thirteen years at the helm, and these mountains still get us every time. Mallorca Hiking was founded by David Denham and carried on by Fiona McLean; Nina Harjula took it over and has run it ever since, with a small team of guides who'd rather be out on a trail than behind a desk. We care about the details — the route, the pace, the story behind every ridge — because that's what turns a walk into something you still talk about months later.

A Swedish-speaking Finn who fell for the Mediterranean mountains and never left, Nina's been leading people outdoors since she was a teenager scouting trails back home. Now a qualified hiking and biking guide, licensed mountain first aider and Nordic Walking instructor, she runs the show in five languages — English, Swedish, Finnish, Spanish and Catalan.

Isabel became a mountain guide because she couldn't picture doing anything else — nature and culture are simply what she talks about, all day. Years of leading hiking and cycling tours later, ask her anything about the Mallorcan mountains and she'll have a story ready.

Elke fell for hiking as a kid in Austria and has been chasing that feeling ever since. Every route with her turns into a bit of storytelling too — local history, hidden flora and fauna, whatever the trail throws up.

Born and raised in Mallorca, Migue turned a childhood obsession with the mountains and the sea into a career — professional sports technician in canyoning and mountaineering, guiding adventure activities full-time across the island since 2013.
