A walk of contrasts — a rocky little summit, a deserted shingle cove, then clifftops into a chic fishing port.
Good for anyone reasonably fit and happy with a few hours on their feet over uneven ground. No special experience needed.
From the village of S'Arracó the route climbs to the rocky crest of Es Tres Picons, with strange weathered rock formations and a wide view over the south-west corner. A broad winding track then drops through a valley to Cala Egos, an undeveloped shingle beach that is the natural lunch stop — and a swim if the sea is kind.
The second half runs along pine-clad clifftops, over a series of rolling rises and a fine col, to the Port of Andratx, where the fishing boats share the water with a Riviera-style waterfront of bars and cafés. There is a short scrambly section on the peaks, so boots with good grip earn their keep.
Guide’s tipGrippy soles for the short scramble on the peaks, and time your day so you reach Cala Egos for lunch and a swim before the clifftop stretch.
