Terms & Conditions

Insurance

All guided activities organised by Mallorca Hiking (Trek and Roll SLU) include civil liability insurance and accident insurance for participants (guided activities only; rentals excluded), in accordance with Spanish regulations.

Participants are strongly advised to take out their own personal travel insurance covering, as a minimum: medical expenses, accident or injury, repatriation, cancellation, curtailment and personal liability. Please ensure your insurance policy covers the type of activities you are undertaking.

Where applicable, participants should carry a valid European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). All participants must carry a valid passport or official ID during activities.

Cancellation or modification by Mallorca Hiking

Mallorca Hiking may cancel or modify an activity due to adverse weather conditions, safety reasons or other unforeseen circumstances. The final decision regarding safety and suitability of conditions rests with Mallorca Hiking.

·        If an activity is cancelled, we will first try to reschedule it.

·        If rescheduling is not possible or not accepted, a 50% refund will be issued.

·        If the activity cannot take place due to ongoing adverse weather, a 50% refund applies unless otherwise stated.

·        If Mallorca Hiking is unable to provide the activity for any other reason, a full refund will be issued.

Client cancellation policy

If you wish to cancel a confirmed activity, the following cancellation charges apply:

·        More than 14 days before the activity: no charge

·        Less than 14 days before the activity: 25%

·        Less than 7 days before the activity: 50%

·        Less than 48 hours before the activity or no-show: 100%

Illness or inability to attend

If you are unable to attend due to illness, we will attempt to reschedule the activity where possible. If rescheduling is not possible, you may be able to claim the cost through your personal insurance. Upon request, we can provide written confirmation that the activity was cancelled due to illness.

Changes to bookings

If changes to a confirmed activity require significant administrative work, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable service fee of up to €50 per person, whether or not the change is ultimately possible.

If Mallorca Hiking needs to make changes to an activity, you will be informed as soon as possible and suitable alternatives will be offered where available.

No refunds are given for unused services, early departure or no-shows.

Information accuracy

We aim to provide clear, accurate and up-to-date information on our website. If you notice any errors or omissions, please let us know so we can correct them promptly.

Liability and participation

Outdoor and adventure activities involve inherent risks. By participating in our activities, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

Participants agree to follow all safety instructions provided by their guide. Failure to do so may result in exclusion from the activity for safety reasons, without entitlement to a refund.

Mallorca Hiking is not responsible for personal loss, damage or injury arising from participation in activities or related travel, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable Spanish law.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Spanish law, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Spanish courts.
